I was born in Guatemala Central America. My parents and I came to the United States in 1965. I feel extremely grateful and fortunate to have been given the opportunity to grow up in such a wonderful Country. My father taught me that if one works hard in this wonderful land of opportunity, there are no limits to what one can accomplish.
I was raised and attended school in the San Fernando Valley and Sylmar, California. I joined the United States Marine Corps right after high school. I served four years of active duty in Parris Island, South Carolina; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and Okinawa Japan. I completed my two year Reserve time in Oxnard, California. The Marine Corps taught me discipline, hard work, leadership, and loyalty. I left the Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge which I am very proud of.
In 1986, I went to work for American Savings Bank. In 1989, I was asked to join the Appraisal Department for American Savings. Fortunately, I had competed all of my Real Estate Courses at Valley College in the San Fernando Valley.
In 1989, I started to work as a Certified Residential Appraiser for the bank that is now known as Chase Bank. I conducted thousands of appraisals over the years. I performed appraisals all over the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
In, 1997, I decided to make changes, and took a good severance package that was offered to me after 11 years of employment. I went to the “School of Interpretation of Southern California” for several months, then became a Spanish Court Interpreter for Immigration Court in downtown Los Angeles and at the Mira Loma Detention Facility in Lancaster California.
In the year 2000, I went back to Appraising for a short while, and then decided to become a Realtor. I worked for Realty Executives for two years. In 2005 I joined Pinnacle Estate Properties Inc. and worked there for 17 years. In 2022 my family and I moved to Florida. I decided to obtain my Broker's License in Florida, I then joined a wonderful Brokerage named Florida Exeutive Realty.
I am currently married to a wonderful man, who is a Residential Appraiser. Together we have three beautiful daughters, ages 24, 32 and 33.
My life is truly complete. I have a wonderful family and a great career in Real Estate. I truly enjoy my work as a Realtor. My Military, Residential Appraiser, and Spanish Interpreting experience combined together make me a great asset to my clients.
